According to this NBC Bay Area article, houses in San Jose appreciate in value roughly $100 of every hour of every day!  I had to read that sentence twice, because it is almost unbelievable. From the article: “Zillow estimates homeowners in San Jose gain nearly $571 in equity every day. Over the course of a year, that adds up to just over $200,000.”
