Dimond District

Situated along MacArthur Boulevard between E. 38th Avenue and Coolidge Avenue, Oakland’s Dimond district is a multicultural neighborhood centered around the beautiful Dimond Park. The Dimond District is mostly flat, but situated just at the base of the Oakland Hills. Neighboring communities are Glenview, The Laurel District, Lincoln Heights and Oakmore.

The district is comprised mostly of single family homes, with many local and national businesses and restaurants located along MacArthur and Fruitvale Boulevards. In recent years, several more upscale businesses have opened in the Dimond District, including Farmer Joe’s Marketplace and La Farine Bakery.
