Maxwell Park

Maxwell Park is named after its original developer, John P. Maxwell, and is sandwiched between High Street and 55th Avenue below Interstate 580. Originally developed in 1921, the neighborhood boasts Tudor homes, Craftsman Bungalows and some Spanish influenced designs as well.

Many of the homes in Maxwell Park feature sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay, but are considerably more affordable than other view neighborhoods like Montclair or Piedmont. Maxwell Park is a favorite of first time homebuyers because the homes are charming, affordable, and centrally located.
